Conrad Wagner is a Swiss mobility strategist, entrepreneur and consultant with decades of experience developing new mobility concepts, business models and transport services across Switzerland and international markets.
He is the founder and CEO of Mobility Systems Switzerland, where his work spans integrated mobility services, traffic services, tourism consulting and the development of future-oriented transport concepts. His experience includes CarSharing, RideSharing, RideHailing, mobility hubs, electric mobility, autonomous vehicles, mobility management and emerging transport technologies.
Conrad has played a pioneering role in shared mobility. He co-founded Mobility CarSharing Switzerland and later Flexcar CarSharing in Seattle, which became part of Zipcar. He has also advised transportation agencies and worked on mobility studies and market pretests for organisations including Daimler and Mercedes-Benz Research and Technology North America.
Alongside his business and consulting career, Conrad has substantial public-sector experience. He served in the Parliament of the Canton of Nidwalden from 2006 to 2019 and was President of the Canton from 2015 to 2016. He also teaches in Switzerland and contributes to boards and initiatives in tourism and energy.
